You Brought Me To Life

To my Parents,

I know that I hurt you, I disobeyed you. I knew before that what I was going to do was wrong, and I still did it.

Now I live every day having to face you with nothing to say, I'm ashamed for what I did. Even though I messed up, given the chance to take it all back I wouldn't.

Now I am a stronger person because of what happened, I have learned who will be there for me when I need them the most.

I know things will never be the same between us, they aren't even close to good yet, but I promise that I will apologize, when I am truly ready.

Apologize When It's Heartfelt

We often disappoint our parents, it's how we both grow as people. Parents learn about themselves in their children's reflection.

We make mistakes as human beings, it's natural. What's important is how we learn from those mistakes so that we know better the next time around.

Parents want nothing more than for their children to be happy and successful and children often don't see what is motivating a parent to discipline, react, or behave a certain way.

In the end, always know that the relationship we have with our children will always be one of the most important things in our lives.

Your apology will mean the world to them and once you deliver it, your parents will know it is heartfelt and sincere.
